The Environmental Assessment Service

Hello friends, today I will tell you a little about the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA, for its acronym in Spanish). 

The SEA is a public body functionally decentralized with legal personality and own property.

Its main function is to technify and administer the environmental management instrument called "Environmental Impact Assessment System" (SEIA), whose management is based on the environmental evaluation of projects adjusted to what is established in the current norm, encouraging and facilitating citizen participation in the evaluation of the projects.

The SEA website shows different information, such as explanatory documents for: the preparation of an EIA (Evacuation of Environmental Impact), the consideration of citizen participation in the evaluation of projects, current regulations, among others.

The website also has available a search engine that indicates the Environmental Impact Assessment and the Environmental Impact Statement (DIA) corresponding to each project.

The home page shows the most recent news related to the SEA, in addition to a calendar with dates and places of the next Evaluation Committee Tables, which is the case where the projects in each region are discussed.
